Lupus is often a multisystem disease that may require complex treatment regiments that are difficult to manage in a busy general rheumatology clinic. Patients with SLE benefit from the added focus allowed by this dedicated clinic.\u00a0 The Lupus Clinic also provides our patients access to clinical trials of novel medications to treat SLE.<\/p>\n<h4>High Risk Rheumatoid Arthritis Clinic<\/h4>\n<p>Patients with rheumatoid arthritis, or RA, do not always respond as expected to medications. The High-Risk RA clinic was established to allow a concentrated approach on patients with hard-to-treat RA. We have an excellent record of successful treatment of refractory RA.
