Our Research<\/a><\/h2>\n

Our basic science researchers are currently engaged in a variety of projects which seek to explain mechanisms of ocular diseases and may lead to possible therapies for blinding disorders. Some of our clinical faculty are involved in treatment trials. Others are conducting investigations which might permit optimization of vision care resources. Our research efforts are supported by grants from the government, private industry and philanthropic foundations and through endowments provided by visionary benefactors.<\/span><\/p>\n
