Alexandra Hill

Dr. Alexandra Hill was born and raised in Ormond Beach, Florida. She attended Florida State University where she earned a BS in Psychology with minors in Biology and Chemistry. Following college, she moved to Atlanta, Georgia where she earned her MS in Biomedical Sciences while completing a research thesis with a focus on a potential cancer therapeutic drug at the Georgia campus of Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine. During her time at PCOM she was inducted into the Alpha Epsilon Lambda Graduate Honor Society and received the Dean’s Award for Academic Excellence. Afterwards, she moved back to Florida to Fort Lauderdale to attend Nova Southeastern University College of Osteopathic Medicine with clinical rotations completed in Orlando at Advent Health. She was inducted into the Gold Humanism Honor Society and earned her medical degree. Dr. Hill has been a General Surgery resident at UTHSCSA since 2020 during which time she has been an active member of the resident wellness committee and has been elected to serve on the General Surgery Residency Council, as a representative on the House Staff Council, and as Trauma Administrative Chief Resident. Dr. Hill’s career interests include minimally invasive surgery, hernia and foregut surgery, trauma, and surgical critical care.
