Angelo Ciaraglia

Angelo Ciaraglia was born and raised in Sacramento, California and subsequently went on to attend Cal Poly San Luis Obispo, earning a degree in biomedical engineering where he graduated Magna Cum Laude. HE subsequently went on to attend medical school at New York Medical College before moving to San Antonio for his general surgery residency program. He completed a research fellowship during his residency training during the 2021-2022 academic year with the UT Health Science Center at San Antonio, Trauma and Surgical Critical Care Division. His interests include general thoracic surgery, thoracic oncology, critical care, whole blood transfusion and resuscitation strategies, and non-invasive hemodynamic monitoring.
