James Wistrom

Originally from the bluegrass state of Kentucky, Dr. Wistrom first came to Texas for residency and has enjoyed calling it home since. He was drawn to surgery by the technical aspects of the craft and the abilities of general surgeons to manage patients both surgically and medically. He is a multi-instrumentalist and plays multiple stringed instruments including the pedal steel guitar. He is interested in pursuing vascular surgery fellowship after residency.
