Residency Application Event Schedule

Program Information:

Virtual Open House and Meet & Greets:

  • These are set up to provide prospective applicants with direct contact with program leadership, residents and faculty
  • To make your visit more interesting and helpful, please look through the pages and links in the residency program and residency applicants pages beforehand

Open House:

  • Tuesday, September 7th (Program Leadership) from 6 pm to 7 pm CST

Meet & Greets:

  • Thursday, September 16th (Residents) from 6 pm to 7 pm CST
  • Thursday, September 23rd (Residents) from 6 pm to 7 pm CST
  • Thursday, September 30th (Faculty) from 6 pm to 7 pm CST
  • Thursday, October 7th (Residents) from 6 pm to 7 pm CST
  • Thursday, October 14th (Residents) from 6 pm to 7 pm CST

Tentative dates for 2021 Interviews are Monday, November 22 and Tuesday, November 23, 2021:

  • If selected to interview, interview details will be communicated first through ERAS and then via email by the Program Coordinator
  • Interviews will be a hybrid of in-person and virtual via Zoom
  • Once scheduled, you will be sent a meeting invite with a link (if applicable) to the interview day sessions
  • One to three days before the interview, the Program Coordinator will contact applicants to test the virtual system, if necessary and answer any last minute questions

The tentative format will include:

  • A breakout room that will contain current residents in the program who can answer questions about housing, rentals, shopping, entertainment, schools, daycare, churches and other interesting facts about San Antonio and Texas
  • An interview breakout room with the Faculty Panel (limited access to interviewees only, interviews will last approximately 30 minutes each)
  • An interview breakout room with another faculty member or department chairman (Interview will last approximately 15 to 30 minutes)
