Dr. Solis-McCarthy is both an attending physician in emergency medicine and the assistant ultrasound director. She serves as both an educator and a mentor for the department of emergency medicine and in the field of ultrasound. She also runs an educational Instagram page including illustrations of concepts in the physics of ultrasonography. She provides hands-on learning to residents to learn ultrasound. She also serves as a mentor to the residents and helps with career advice. She brings positive energy and enthusiasm to her work as an educator, and she is able to explain complex topics in understandable formats. She is both a wonderful mentor and educator.
