I have worked with her in clinic. She takes significant time to teach residents and fellows about breast cancer: diagnosis, treatment, and prognosis. Dr. Lathrop takes it upon herself to stay up-to-date with the latest guidelines. She also teaches her patients based on their needs. It is powerful to be present when she provides care to patients. She has been a professional mentor to me and I am grateful for her assistance.
