CSA Congratulations to Dr. Kay Oyajobi!
Dr. Oyajobi has been appointed as a member of the LSOM Educational Opportunity Advisory Council (EOAC), effective September 2025. The EOAC focuses on developing and supporting policies to enhance educational opportunities and performance for Long School of Medicine students, residents, and fellows in our region. Additionally, it plays a crucial role in faculty recruitment and retention efforts aimed at addressing the health care needs of underserved populations in South Texas.
He has also been elected as a member of the postdoctoral section of the American Association of Medical Colleges Group on Research Education and Training (AAMC GREAT).
Furthermore, Dr. Oyajobi has been invited to serve a second three-year term on the GREAT Steering Committee, following his dedicated service from 2022 to 2025.
