As a classically trained dancer and collegiate ballroom dancer, I am passionate about dancing. I love spending time with my family and friends. I also enjoy traveling and exploring new places and different cultures. I am continually fascinated by medicine, particularly hematology/oncology and emerging research, so I enjoy reading journals and articles.Academic-based clinical practice in medical oncology with a primary focus on breast oncology and clinical research involving clinical trials.

also enjoy outdoor running and attending musical theater (huge fan of Broadway

My professional interests currently straddle the dynamic fields of academic and community medicine. I have a robust background in clinical trials,
particularly in breast cancer, which continues to inspire my career path. Recently, I've developed a keen interest in Gastrointestinal Oncology, where I
aim to make significant contributions through patient care. I am eager to further my expertise in these areas and contribute meaningfully to oncology.

I enjoy exploring new places with my family and friends, going on hikes, trying out new restaurants, and traveling when we can. I also love to cook, read novels, listen to podcasts, and find quiet moments to unwind—though most days, our little one keeps us happily busy and makes sure there's never a dull moment. Traveling, especially when it involves discovering new food spots or peaceful nature trails, is one of my favorite ways to recharge. My goal is to build a career in academic medical oncology, with a focus on delivering compassionate, patient-centered care, and I hope to make a meaningful impact—both for my patients and within the field.

I find balance through time outdoors, exploring visual and literary arts, and with food. Should I decide to stay in academics my intended focus is on improving outcomes for older adults with hematologic malignancies and other myeloid disorders. I also have research interests in symptom management and systems of care for Hematology Oncology patients; particularly those of underserved or disenfranchised communities.

At this point in my career my interests are fairly broad. I am particularly interested in GI oncology, thoracic oncology, and malignant hematology. Outside of clinical work I am interested in medical education and systems level process improvement.
