ACTIV-6: COVID-19 Study of Repurposed Medications

Estimated Time Commitment

Study entirely virtual, length of time taking study medications is dependent on which medication is being used (up to 14 days). Online symptom surveys daily until symptoms go away; phone contacts at Day 14, 21, 28 and 90.

Eligibility

Age ≥ 30 years; 2 or more symptoms of acute COVID for ≤ 7 days, positive COVID test within 10 days; not needing hospitalization for current infection

Active acute COVID-19

Diseases Being Studied

Mild to Moderate Acute COVID-19 infection.
Location: Virtual, drug shipped to participant’s home

Gov identifier: NCT04885530, study is testing different medications that are already approved for other indications to see if they help people with mild to moderate COVID feel better faster.
