We are seeking a motivated APP with interest in Neurocritical care to join our team. University Hospital is a 18 bed, level 1 trauma, comprehensive stroke and academic medical center covering San Antonio + referral center for rest of South Texas. Our team consists of 5 neurointensivists, 5 current APPs, dedicated neurocritical care fellows, and various level learners. Our APPs make up the core of our team. They are strong clinicians, proficient in procedural skills, and excellent educators. They actively engage in education at multiple levels and disciplines, and they participate in research and quality improvement efforts. Position includes 6 month onboarding process before working independently regardless of critical care experience. Ideal candidate will provide clinical services 12 shifts per month. Hours are 5am – 5pm day shift and 5pm – 5am night shift. This position is for a mixed days and nights coverage.
