Thank you for your interest in the Spine Fellowship Program at the Long School of Medicine at the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio.
We are thrilled to have you join our team of dedicated professionals who are committed to excellence in spine surgery. Our program is designed to provide comprehensive training in the latest techniques and technologies, coupled with a strong emphasis on research and clinical practice. We are dedicated to patient-centered care, and our program is the first of its kind in South Texas.
Our goal is to help you develop the skills and knowledge necessary to become a leader in the field of spine surgery. The fellow we select will serve a diverse population and be exposed to a wide range of spine pathologies. They will work with a talented team of faculty and staff from the Departments of Neurosurgery, Orthopedic Surgery, Anesthesiology, and Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation.

We are currently accepting applications for start date July 1st, 2026.
Candidates from ACGME accredited neurosurgery, neurology or radiology residencies are eligible to apply.
Candidates must be eligible for a full Texas medical license as determined by the Texas Medical Board.
