Personal Statement:
Dr. Al-Saiegh is Assistant Professor of Neurosurgery at UT Health San Antonio. He completed his neurosurgery training and a prestigious combined endovascular & open vascular fellowship training at Thomas Jefferson University in Philadelphia. Dr. Al-Saiegh provides care to patients with all neurosurgical conditions with a special focus on cerebrovascular disorders. These include brain aneurysms, ischemic and hemorrhagic strokes, arteriovenous malformations and fistulas, carotid disease, cavernous malformations, and vascular disorders of the spine.

Research
Dr. Al-Saiegh is a prolific researcher in several areas of neurosurgery with a goal to improve patient outcomes. He has published over 100 peer-reviewed articles and book chapters and is an active reviewer for several neurosurgical journals.
