Ophthalmology Grand Rounds

The University of Texas at San Antonio, UT San Antonio Long School of Medicine designates this educational activity for a maximum of 1.0 AMA PRA Category 1 Credit™. Physicians should only claim credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.

Ophthalmology Grand Rounds are not open to the public. Attendance is limited to:

• Faculty and Students of the UT San Antonio
• The San Antonio Uniformed Services Health Education Consortium (SAUSHEC)
• Adjunct faculty of the UT San Antonio Department of Ophthalmology
• Special guests of the UT San Antonio Department of Ophthalmology

When: Every Friday

Location: Live 1st and 3rd Fridays, Long School of Medicine; the remainder are held virtually via MS Teams

Time: 7:00 AM to 8:00 AM

San Antonio Society of Ophthalmology (SASO)

SASO meetings are held on the third Thursday of every month (but not in June, July or August). Location varies. These meetings are open to local ophthalmologists as well, for a fee.
