Adrienne Russell, M. DEHS, LSLS Cert. AVEd

Bio

Adrienne L. Russell is a Parent-Infant Advisor at Sunshine Cottage School for Deaf Children. She has an undergraduate degree in early childhood education and a graduate degree in Deaf Education and Hearing Science. Ms. Russell was certified as a Listening and Spoken Language Specialist (Cert. LSL AVEd.) in 2009. Since 2003, she has led a parenting class for parents of infants. Ms. Russell also leads study groups to assist colleagues in preparing for LSL certification.

Ms. Russell co-authored a section of 101 Frequently Asked Questions About Auditory-Verbal Practice. She recently published an article about the topic of dialogic reading. Ms. Russell has numerous national presentations regarding best practices in working with infants and parents. She additionally co-presented in professional webinars about the Cottage Acquisition Scales for Listening, Language, and Speech (CASLLS) through Sunshine Cottage.
