Personal Statement:

Dr. Taylor grew up in Southern California, but first moved to San Antonio to attend medical school after graduating from undergraduate studies at the University of Notre Dame, where she studied Spanish Literature and Pre-Med.  She completed residency in Otolaryngology – Head & Neck Surgery at UT Health San Antonio and went on to complete a facial plastic and reconstructive surgery fellowship at the University of Minnesota and the Hilger Clinic in the Twin Cities, where she gained further training to treat a variety of conditions of the head and face, and perform both cosmetic as well as reconstructive procedures.

Dr. Taylor is dedicated to providing excellent care to the residents of San Antonio and South Texas and is fluent in Spanish.
She has special interest the treatment of facial paralysis/facial reanimation procedures and works together with the physical therapy team to provide comprehensive care to patients with facial nerve disorders.
Dr. Taylor is a member of the UT Health/ Mays Cancer Center Head and Neck Cancer Team, for which she performs reconstruction after skin cancer removal (Mohs) and reconstruction after surgery for head and neck (throat/oral cavity) cancer, including microvascular free tissue transfer for reconstruction, and facial reanimation procedures.

Dr. Taylor is board certified in Otolaryngology – Head & Neck Surgery and Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery.
