Personal Statement:

Emily is a graduate student in the Neuroscience discipline of the Integrated Biomedical Science program. She currently works in the laboratory of Dr. William Clarke and Dr. Kelly Berg, where her research investigates the regulation of the kappa opioid receptor (KOR) in peripheral sensory neurons and keratinocyte in KOR agonist mediated antinociception. 

Emily’s outside interests include Baking, Netflix, Dungeons and Dragons.
