The Department of Pharmacology at UT San Antonio has 14 tenure-track or tenured faculty, 9 research-track faculty, 15 graduate students, and 9 postdoctoral fellows. Because of an overlapping of research interests and multiplicity of techniques, there are many collaborative studies within the Department. The faculty in the Department are well-funded from various NIH institutes and foundations, and our graduate students are competitive for individual National Research Service Award (NRSA) funding from NIH.
