Personal Statement:

Kayla is a graduate student in the Neuroscience discipline of the Integrated Biomedical Sciences program. Her research in Dr. Daniel Lodge’s lab examines the role of perimenopause and the menopausal transition in the pathogenesis of Alzheimer’s Disease using electrophysiological, behavioral, and molecular techniques.

Outside of the lab, Kayla enjoys weightlifting, hiking, and exploring new coffee shops.
