Personal Statement:

My research in the lab of Dr. Charles France involves investigating the therapeutic potential of plant derived and synthetic cannabinoids as treatments for substance use disorders. In particular, I am investigating the potential of cannabinoid agents to decrease the rewarding effects of opioids as well as opioid dependence and withdrawal.
