Postdoctoral Fellow

Personal Statement:

I am a postdoctoral research fellow working under Professor Hong-yu Li at UTHSCSA. Our research is synthesizing novel PROTACs for protein degradation to develop a drug for cancer.

Education

Postdoctoral Research Associate, 2022-2023, College of Pharmacy, University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences
Postdoctoral Research Associate, 2021-2022, Department of Chemistry, the University of Texas at San Antonio
Postdoctoral Research Associate, 2019-2021, School of Pharmacy, University of Pittsburgh
Ph.D. in Chemistry, 2014-2019, Department of Chemistry, IIT Madras, Chennai, India

Research

I am interested in organic synthesis such as synthetic methodology and small molecule synthesis in medicinal chemistry. Currently, I am working on proteolysis targeting chimeras synthesis and their activity in cancer cells.
