Announcing the 2026 Graduate School of Biomedical Sciences Graduation Ceremony
We are pleased to announce the upcoming graduation of our Graduate School of Biomedical Sciences and invite you to join us in celebrating this important milestone.
Please note, this year’s graduation ceremony will differ from the past five years as there will NOT be a combined Health Schools ceremony at the Alamodome. Each school, including the GSBS, will be carrying out their own graduation ceremonies.
The GSBS Graduation Ceremony will take place on Friday, May 15, 2026 at 4:00 p.m. in the Holly Auditorium on the Long Campus. A reception honoring our graduates will be held in the foyer immediately after. This event will not be ticketed, and seating will be first come, first served.
Students, I highly encourage you to participate in the ceremony. Graduation represents years of dedication, resilience, and hard work. During the ceremony, you will walk across the stage, be hooded by your mentor, and capture this milestone with commemorative photos.
Faculty and Staff, we invite you to join us in celebrating the 2025-2026 graduates as they take the next steps in their academic and professional journeys.
More information about regalia, rehearsal, and ceremony details will be emailed to graduates in the next few weeks.
