Our division includes several interventional pulmonary specialists who provide services that utilize advanced minimally invasive techniques to manage complex central airway obstruction and structural disorders of the airway, both from malignant and non-malignant causes. Dr. Phillip Ong, Dr. Robert Maximos, and  Dr. Rodrigo Burguete are highly trained interventional pulmonologist who use cutting edge techniques that are beyond the skill set of the majority of pulmonologists.  Our pulmonary & critical care fellows regularly rotate on the service and get hands on experiences with these advanced procedures.
