Personal Statement:

My training in internal medicine here offered outstanding exposure to pulmonary and critical care, compelling me to pursue a fellowship. The faculty are not only kind and humble, treating you like family, but also highly accomplished. The program strikes an excellent balance between pulmonary and critical care, providing extensive exposure to a variety of pathologies and the chance to practice in diverse settings. It promotes autonomy, offers numerous procedural opportunities, and provides strong support for research and conference participation.

I chose San Antonio because it’s super family-friendly. Everyone’s really nice, there’s amazing food, lots of fun stuff to do, cool theme parks, and it’s all easy to get to and easy on the wallet
