Personal Statement:
The strengths of the program stood out to me throughout the interview process: the breadth of clinical training and the depth of faculty mentorship and support. Just as importantly, everyone I met made me feel genuinely welcome, and that warmth made it clear this was a place where I would be supported to grow as a physician. I am excited to make San Antonio home, from its vibrant food scene ,to the city’s rich history, culture, and welcoming community. As someone who loves cooking and exploring restaurants, I am especially looking forward to the city’s celebrated Tex-Mex and its diverse culinary offerings, and to experiencing the warmth and character that make San Antonio such a special place to live and train.
Education
Residency: North Alabama Medical Center, Florence, AL (Internal Medicine; Chief Resident)
Medical School: Government Medical College, Patiala, India
Research
My clinical interests center on point-of-care ultrasound (POCUS), interstitial lung disease, and interventional pulmonology. I am drawn to the way POCUS brings real-time diagnostic clarity to the bedside, and I am especially excited by the diagnostic and procedural breadth that interventional pulmonology offers within pulmonary and critical care medicine.
Awards & Accomplishments
I placed 2nd in the Alabama/Mississippi ACP Chapter Doctor’s Dilemma competition (2025)
