Personal Statement:

My hobbies include: Everything related to soccer: playing, watching and even coaching. Trail running and endurance sports. San Antonio quickly captured my heart! It’s got that exciting big-city vibe, but somehow manages to feel so laid-back and welcoming – a really easy place to settle into. As someone who values community, I’ve especially appreciated the incredibly strong Latino culture here. The food scene is fantastic, and if you love Mexican food, you’re absolutely in for a treat! What really drew me to this fellowship, though, is the exceptional training in pulmonary and critical care. Getting to learn from faculty who are leaders in their fields and gaining hands-on experience at diverse clinical sites has been incredible. I feel like I’m getting a truly comprehensive and enriching education here.
