Personal Statement:

What are your hobbies and favorite activities outside of medicine?

  • I am a very outdoorsy person. I love hiking with my wife and dogs, traveling to new cities and I also enjoy playing the piano. Outdoor sports such as soccer or tennis are my favorite.

What made you decide to rank UT Health San Antonio?

  • When I was researching places to train as a Pulmonary and Critical Care fellow I came upon UT San Antonio. Deep into my research I realized that this program is an excellent place to hone your clinical skills in critical care and pulmonary medicine. The wide variety of patients and the excellent specialists that encompass the medical team is outstanding. I don’t believe I could be in a better training program that suits my future goals.

What do you like about San Antonio? Or what are you most excited to experience in San Antonio?

  • San Antonio is one of the biggest cities in the United Sates. Although this may be true, it has a small-town feel. The people are extremely nice, the city has diverse things to do; from exceptional outdoor sceneries, to amazing cultural and night life events.  What I’m most excited about is enjoying the nature with my wife and dogs.
