Welcome Our Newest Faculty

We are excited to announce that Dr. Amy Le, MD, MPH has joined our department as an assistant professor of radiation oncology.
Dr. Amy Le grew up in Arizona and Utah prior to attending medical school at the University of Texas Medical School at Houston. She completed a Master of Public Health degree concurrently with her residency training in radiation oncology at Indiana University. She then spent one year working in private practice in the greater Houston area.
She has clinical interest and expertise in stereotactic radiation treatments and her clinical practice focuses on gynecologic and gastrointestinal malignancies. She has lost loved ones to cancer, giving her perspective that shapes her practice. She is passionate about tailoring recommendations based on patients’ values and goals and maximizing quality of life. Her research interests include patient-reported outcomes and long-term side effects from radiation treatment, treatment patterns, cancer prevention, and addressing cancer disparities.
