Medical Physics

Welcome to the Division of Medical Physics at the UT Health San Antonio. Our division is composed of a multi-disciplinary group of medical professionals, including medical physics faculty, medical physics residents, graduate students, post-doctoral fellows, dosimetrists, dosimetry students, radiation therapy technologists, IT personnel, linac engineers, and visiting scholars.

The mission of our division is to conduct basic and clinical research that will lead to new discoveries for the treatment of cancer with radiation. We are committed to develop new tools and techniques that will improve patient treatment and outcomes. We aim to train new generations of radiation oncology professionals. We offer an array of training programs in medical physics, medical dosimetry and clinical residency to educate and train the new generation of oncology professionals. We provide the highest quality of medical physics service to our patients. Working together with our physician colleagues, we strive to offer the highest quality of clinical services and technical support to benefit our cancer patients.
