Shamsher Pasha

Resident

Dr. Pasha was born in the city of Abbottabad in Pakistan and was drawn to a career in medicine at an early age due to personal experience with a kind and compassionate surgeon that cared for him. With the goal of providing the same hope he was given, he returned to the very hospital he was treated at but as a medical student and successfully graduated as an MBBS doctor from the Aga Khan University in Pakistan in early 2021. He then went on to work as a research scientist at Northwell Health in New York, where he actively conducted clinical research on pancreatic cancer and created and maintained a robust patient database pancreatic, liver and colon cancers.

His interest lie with Hepatopancreatobiliary surgery and Surgical oncology.
