Zachary Marriott

Dr. Marriott grew up in southern California. Attended college at Boston University where he was on the track and cross-country teams while he majored in biology with a minor in psychology. He worked as a medical assistant for a year before attending medical school at George Washington University in D.C. He moved to San Antonio to start surgery residency as a prelim resident in the peak pre-vaccine COVID pandemic and was kept on as categorical resident. Professional interests include general and minimally invasive surgery as well as the impact of technology of the future of healthcare delivery. Outside of work he enjoys working out at Orange Theory and competing in Spartan races as well as relaxing with his 3 fur babies Piper (chihuahua), Flynn (chihuahua) and Frances (gato).
