Dr. Basler excels as a mentor and educator. His commitment to the Urology Residency program has no limit. No matter the situation or time of day, I have always been able to count on Dr. Basler for academic questions or advice with difficult patient care issues. I have witnessed numerous moments where he goes above and beyond for his residents and his colleagues, without any expectation of return. As I approach my graduation from residency, I know Dr. Basler will always be a mentor I can rely on in a pinch and I feel that he is most deserving of recognition.
