Dr. Nassery is a phenomenal provider. He is a great teacher, always trying to educate the team during both table rounds and at the bedside. However, the thing that sticks out the most about him is that he also teaches the team by his actions. He is constantly leading by example, serving as a wonderful inspiration and mentor to all members of the team. He is the epitome of a role model, and seeing how hard he works for his patients makes it easy to want to work equally as hard for him. Furthermore, I really enjoyed seeing the way he interacts with and treats his patients. He is very kind, compassionate, nonjudgemental, and communicative with them, something that they really seemed to enjoy. For these reasons, he is by far one of the best attendings to learn under, and I think he is extremely deserving of this award.
