Dr. Dent always goes above and beyond to inspire and train residents. He allows residents to come up with plans and always offers unbiased guidance. In the operating room, he is one of few faculty who allows a resident to struggle for an adequate period of time and offers great insight and tips that allows the resident to make progress and complete the operation. As a mentor, he is willing to lend a listening ear and extremely proactive in making our residency program better, with the best interest of resident training in mind. I am lucky to have worked under his leadership!
