Dr. Kempenich is very good at allowing appropriate autonomy and teaching technical skills in the OR. He consistently pushes residents to become better. He encourages curiosity and will discuss his clinical reasoning with residents.
Dr. Kempenich is devoted to resident education. He has worked hard to emphasize wellness and improve the General Surgery Program. He is a great teacher in the operating room and clinic. He has a special talent of giving direct and clear directions on how to improve technique which is very valuable to my surgical education.
