Application Information

For the Cardiovascular Disease Fellowship, we do participate in the National Residency Matching Program:

  • Cardiovascular Disease NRMP# 1722141F0
  • We accept applications only through the Electronic Residency Application Service (ERAS) offered by the American Association of Medical Colleges. We DO NOT accept applications outside of ERAS.
  • Interviews are typically held August – October.
  • We accept 6 fellows annually for this 3-year fellowship.
  • Visa Sponsorship: ECFMG J-1 Visas only.

For the Interventional Cardiology Fellowship, we do not participate in the National Residency Matching Program.

  • We accept applications only through the Electronic Residency Application Service (ERAS) offered by the American Association of Medical Colleges. We DO NOT accept applications outside of ERAS.
  • Interviews are typically held December & January and we fill 2 cycles in advance.
  • We accept 2 fellows annually for this 1-year fellowship.
  • Visa Sponsorship: ECFMG J-1 Visas only.

We require the following documentation with your ERAS application:

1. A complete and official medical school transcript;
2. Medical Student Performance Evaluation (MSPE) Letter;
3. At least three letters of recommendation;
4. United States Medical Licensure Examination (USMLE) transcripts;
5. Personal statement.

This information is reviewed by our fellowship application committee and invitations are extended as early as possible. We limit the number of applicants on any given day to assure you a more personal view of our training program. Interviews are typically conducted in the morning, but days of the week vary.
