EM Staff Employee of the Quarter- Susan Funderburk
The Department of Emergency Medicine is excited to recognize Susana Funderburk as our Department Quarterly Award Winner for the quarter ending March 2020! Ms. Funderburk’s award states, “that her attention to detail to be her biggest strength. She has developed new internal compliance tools and processes and improved some of our internal practices such as section budgets, reporting and financial analysis. Ms. Funderburk always goes above and beyond on what she is asked. When she processes purchase requests, travel requests and other accounting tasks, her work is always flawless, and it is a reflection of her attention to detail.”
Ms. Funderburk is always willing to go out of her way to help the team out, whether is to help out processing travel requests, purchase vouchers or pulling financial information, or simple office activities like setting up decorations, helping out in the front desk or just helping out anywhere she can.
As an award winner, Ms. Funderburk will receive $250 for CME, plaque and spotlighted on the Department’s website.
