Why Emergency Medicine?

I wanted a specialty that allowed me to see a diverse patient population with a wide array of medical problems while being able to perform procedures and critical care medicine daily, and EM is all that and more.

 

Why did you choose UT Health?

The supportive family like atmosphere of the residents and program leadership really stood out, as well as the amount of critically ill patients seen on every shift. Oh, and free breakfast tacos.
