Why Emergency Medicine?

Emergency Medicine doctors are a jack of all trades. I’ll have the opportunity to learn from and collaborate with individuals from every specialty and patients with many kinds of ailments. I’ll be able to use both my head and my hands to help people. Also, people who work in the ER generally have a great sense of humor!

 

Why did you choose UT Health?

UT Health San Antonio provides a well-rounded experience that has elements of both a county program and a university program. We are able to collaborate with many other specialties to coordinate patient care. There are ample opportunities to explore the multi-faceted world of Emergency Medicine. Most importantly, I was drawn to UTHSA by the awesome people that make up this program!
