Why did you choose UT Health?

In the era of COVID, my class was the first to experience virtual interviews and Zoom meet-and-greets. It was challenging weeding out the authentic from the non-authentic programs since we could not be there in person. After leaving my virtual meet-and-greet with UTHSCSA, I left feeling a strong sense of camaraderie and friendship amongst the residents, which I had not truly seen with another residency program. As an intern, I initially went into each shift scared and timid but after time and time again of having the support of my coresidents and faculty, those feelings slowly turned into excitement and confidence. Now as a PGY2, I can say confidently I got the “vibe” right on zoom and couldn’t be happier with the program I chose.
