Why Emergency Medicine?

I enjoy taking care of of acutely ill and injured patients during a stressful moment in their lives. I also like the combination of procedures and medical investigation that occurs in the ED.

 

Why did you choose UT Health?

I had a blast doing an EMS elective with the San Antonio Fire Department my fourth year of medical school, the paramedics introduced me to a very unique city and had high regard for the UT Health Emergency Department. Also I love the culture and outdoor opportunities of South Texas!
