Why Emergency Medicine?

I thrive on the uniqueness and fast-paced energy in the emergency department, and find it extremely grounding at the same time. I find it a privilege to be on the frontlines of medicine.

 

Why did you choose UT Health?

This program believes in working hard on shift & playing harder including post-night shift brunches, pool days, and dance nights. The supportive culture and friendly environment the faculty and residents created is what sealed the deal for me. However, this program also met my academic desires – including a structured didactics, level 1 center training for adult & pediatric trauma/medicine, and many different fellowships with the ability to test drive each of them to find my niche in emergency medicine. This program is where friends become family.
