Personal Statement:
Dr. Spitz received his medical degree from Chicago Medical School in 1994. He completed his residency in 2001 at the University of Chicago as well. Dr. Spitz joined the UTHSCSA staff in December 2003 as a Clinical Assistant Professor. Dr. Spitz provides staff leadership during EM morning conferences and is also a mentor for students who are interested in going into Emergency Medicine as a career. He represents the Department of Emergency Medicine on the UHS Orion work group.
