Congratulations to Dr. Manuel Oscós-Sanchez!

Please join us in congratulating Professor Manuel Oscós-Sanchez on his election as President of the premier international adolescent health organization, Society of Adolescent Health and Medicine (SAHM).  SAHM is a multidisciplinary association of health professionals. Membership is open to all health professionals throughout the world who are involved in service, teaching, or research concerned with the health and well-being of all adolescents and young adults.

Also congratulate him on his recent appointment as the holder of the Dr. John M. Smith, Jr. Endowed Professorship in Family Practice.  This endowed professorship honors one of the founders of the LSOM.

Both honors recognize Professor Oscós-Sanchez continuing contributions to improving the health and health care of our communities.  Prior to this honors, he was also appointed as a Distinguished Teaching Professor.

We are honored to serve with him and grateful for his contributions.
