Common Foot and Ankle Overuse Injuries Seen in the Primary Care Setting

Overview:

Primary care is often the starting point for commonly seen foot and ankle injuries. During this presentation, Dr. Shumaila Sarfani will review the pathology and anatomy of a select few of the most common overuse injuries seen in the primary care setting. She will also identify the first line treatment options including appropriate immobilization. Finally, Dr. Sarfani will discuss when to refer or send a patient to orthopedics for further evaluation.
