Overview:

Post COVID Conditions, PASC, or Long COVID may be impacting 1 of 5 persons who had COVID-19. Given the prevalence of this disease, persons are being impacted significantly across many body systems and limiting quality of life. This presentation will review the most updated pathobiological literature and how to approach the cases of Long COVID in your clinic.

Objectives:

  • Define Long COVID and its pathophysiology
  • Identify adverse impacts of COVID-19 on patients, especially related to healthcare disparities
  • Appraise the current literature related to post-COVID syndrome and how to evaluate and treat these conditions
