PGY1

Our PGY1 residents rotate for fourteen weeks on our own family medicine inpatient service at University Hospital, taught exclusively by FM faculty; two of those fourteen weeks they serve as the night physician. They also complete rotations in sports medicine, surgery, emergency medicine, OB, gynecology and inpatient & ambulatory pediatric care. All program levels have regular experiences in outpatient continuity care in our Family Health Center at Robert B. Green throughout each rotation.

Our First Year Residents

PGY2

Our PGY2 residents rotate for twelve weeks on our own family medicine inpatient service at University Hospital, taught exclusively by FM faculty; four of those twelve weeks they serve as the night physician. They are also scheduled for eight 24-hour calls during their inpatient training. PGY2s also complete rotations in inpatient pediatric care, ambulatory procedures, behavioral science, palliative medicine, emergency medicine, OB, and community medicine & research. As a PGY2, residents have eight weeks of protected elective time. All program levels have regular experiences in outpatient continuity care in our Family Health Center at Robert B. Green throughout each rotation.

Our Second Year Residents

PGY3

Our PGY3 residents rotate for six weeks on our own family medicine inpatient service at University Hospital, taught exclusively by FM faculty; two of those six weeks they serve as the night physician. They also complete rotations in practice management, ambulatory pediatrics, cardiology, pediatric emergency, sports medicine, geriatric care, and on our own FM maternity service. As a PGY3, residents have twelve weeks of protected elective time. All program levelsĀ have regular experiences in outpatient continuity care in our Family Health Center at Robert B. Green throughout each rotation.
