Overview:

Determining the relationship between the Human Papillomavirus (HPV) vaccine and invasive cervical cancers is essential in Primary Care.  In this presentation. Dr. Vargas will present data collected by the National Swedish Databases. In the population studied, HPV vaccinations demonstrated a reduced risk of invasive cervical cancers.

Objectives:

1.  Review study results.
2.  Apply to primary care practice.
3.  Review vaccination schedule.
