The Basics of Care: Pulmonary Hypertension
Overview:
Overall, pulmonary hypertension is a complicated condition. It can be difficult to diagnose as several of the symptoms are common to many other medical conditions. During this presentation, Dr. Rodolfo A. Estrada will strive to provide a better understanding of what pulmonary hypertension is and why it matters. He will also discuss pulmonary hypertension management for the non-pulmonary provider. Finally, Dr. Estrada will explain the Pulmonary Hypertension Center and its mission.
Objectives:
1. Recognize the basics of pulmonary hypertension (PH), and why it matters.
2. Discuss pulmonary hypertension management for the non-pulmonary provider.
3. Explain the Pulmonary Hypertension Center.
